Open Joint-Stock Company ROSNO – one of the Russia’s largest universal insurance companies. It is licensed to perform operations in 95 classes of voluntary and compulsory insurance. The main company owners are: JSFC Sistema (49.2% of shares) and German insurance company Allianz AG (47.4%).

Regional ROSNO network comprises of 100 offices representatives, combined by territory to 10 directorates and 203 agencies as well in all Russian federal constituencies. ROSNO has subsidiaries in Russia (ROSNO MC, ROSNO-Center, Allianz ROSNO Life, Allianz ROSNO Asset Management) and in Ukraine (ROSNO Ukraine). More than 7 mln people and 50,000 entities have ROSNO insurance policies.

ROSNO authorized capital is Rub 1 184 bln. Assets – Rub 3 798 mln, insurance reserves – Rub 8 718 mln (as of September 30, 2005). ROSNO finished transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Audit is conducted in accordance with international standards by Delloitte & Touche.

ROSNO is the member of 17 insurance pools, member of professional and industrial associations, as well: International, Russian-British, Russian-American Chambers and Chamber of Commerce of Russian Federation. ROSNO places its assets in largest and most reliable Russian and foreign banks, such as: Sberbank of Russian Federation, Vneshtorgbank, Deutche Bank, ABN-Amro, ING Bank.

In rating of Russian insurance companies by Expert RA rating agency, ROSNO is rated the highest A++ (High level of reliability with positive perspectives) for the fourth consecutive year.

ROSNO won a line of national prizes and awards, such as Golden Diploma for faultless business reputation awarded by Financial Press-Club of Russia (2003), Gold Brand of the Year/EFFIE (2005), Narodnaya Marka/People’s Mark (2003) and others. By research data of Economic Strategies Institute (ESI) rating center, ROSNO rated first in annual “50 most strategic insurance companies” ratings for three years.
